A Model to revive old memories

New member, George Henley, has recreated an original build by Bob Clapp, of his trawler-type Husky.

Club members visited Bob, mid-build, many years ago during a Club outing, and were greatly impressed by Bob's construction. George has faithfully replicated George's fine boat with a fine model in 3/4 in. to the foot. Plexiglass windows complete the superstructure, and the rub rails are aluminum MIG rods. The gunwales were made by splitting aluminum tubing. The props are on order. Now he faces the task of installing the electrics, for which, he admits, he will plumb the depths of Club expertise. We're looking forward to seeing her in action.
