The Mighty Ship

March 10, 2018

After all those images of little parts and their merger into bigger parts, it's a great pleasure to show just how well they are beginning to fit into a picture of the whole ship.

Imagine being the pilot sitting in his Walrus, on the catapult, that's mounted atop a massive gun turret.  Once that thing gets fired you're almost instantly airborne ............. or you hope you are, and the launching officer had better decide to press the release when the ship was not rolling the wrong way or you'd be in the drink PDQ.

And how about the detail of the pom-pom nest just ahead of the catapult, on the mid forward turret?

Don, your model of the Rodney is really taking shape and it's fascinating to watch your progress.
