Rodney, Rodney, Rodney!

February 4, 2018

It's all those little bits ........... they have to be cut off, trimmed, put where you don't forget them, carefully oh so ever so carefully glued together and assembled into the next main component.  Then painted and stored away again ....... and finally mounted in just the right position (don't mix

up port and starboard or get them upside down)!   If you want to do it right, Don's the man and what a superb job he's making of this model of the Rodney.  Just look at the gun mounts on the Walrus or the railings on the 6 inch gun that faces aft (we'll have some more detailed pics later).  The wingspan of this model Walrus is only about 2.7 inches (6.9 cm) ......... the service boats are just as detailed too, now that's devotion to duty Don!

No, it's not ready to launch yet but it is really beginning to like a ship of the line. Fabulous work Don.
