It takes time and patience, lots of patience ...............

December 19, 2017

After a long interlude (not really but watching hockey got in the way) the elves have started work again at the kitchen table, and production of the Rodney continues. Don's dedication to this model is a lesson for all of us; little by little progress moves ahead.   And now he has the 20 mm Oerlikons, the 4.7 inch guns and the 40 mm Pom-Poms all painted and ready to be attached.

Next on the assembly line will be the 6 inch guns   ............ then the elves have to get the paint and brushes out, again, and get to work painting them (glad I didn't have to do the real thing, those guns would have taken ages!).   Great work Don, we're looking forward to the time she slides down the slips!
